The Marshmallow Challenge!

Today in kidpreneur every group did the marshmallow challenge. . After we got into our small groups, we all built different types of towers made from spaghetti sticks, scissors, tape and string. There was a lot of collaboration and everyone was anxious and frustrated, from their tower falling. At the end, when we were finished, we put the marshmallow on top and made sure it wouldn't fall.

Maths Ratios

Today in maths we used ratios. We added dye to a jar of water and had to figure out which two dye colours we wanted to use for our ratios. The colours we used were blue and red. Dehnyse and I were partners, so we had to decide how many.We chose 4 drops for the red and 3 drops for the blue. Our ratio is 4:3.

Royal Designs!

This is a picture of of the designs for my group. On the top is a picture of our clips. On the bottom is a picture of the ribbon that we are going to stick onto our headbands. These are the designs we have made so far.

Our logo for the headband making group is a picture of a crown with the words ‘royal hair accessories’ on top. We picked the picture of the crown because it suited the words ‘Royal hair Accessories’.
